Day 1 Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Morning departure from Arusha toward Tarangire National Park. Arrive by mid-morning for a full day of game driving. Tarangire is one of Africa’s great undiscovered parks but wildlife in extraordinary concentrations. Elephants in the hundreds. Baobabs that were ancient when the pyramids were built. Lions in the fever trees.Overnight in Tarangire area.

Day 2 Tarangire to Ngorongoro Rim
A final morning game drive in Tarangire before making your way north to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive through the Karatu highlands rewards with sweeping views across the Rift Valley. Day 3 Into the Crater & Return to Arusha
Descend into the crater at dawn. The mist clears slowly to reveal the floor below — the central lake pink with flamingos, a lion pride already moving through the long grass, a herd of wildebeest casting long shadows in the early light. A full morning inside the crater before the drive back to Arusha and transfer to the airportThis itinerary can be customised according to your travel dates and preferences.

When is the best time to visit Tanzania?
Tanzania is a year round destination, but the best time depends on what you want to experience
June to October (Dry Season)
This is the most popular time to visit. Wildlife is easier to spot as animals gather around water sources, and the weather is sunny and pleasant. It’s also the best period to witness the great migration in National Parks.

November to May (Green Season)
The landscape is lush and green, with fewer tourists and lower lodge rates. Birdwatching is at its best. The weather can be variable and some roads may be muddy, but rain never last very long and not every day. You will still be able to enjoy fully your holidays, get great wildlife sightings and a more intimate safari experience.

Do I need to be physically fit to join the hunting experience with the Hadzabe?
The Hadzabe hunting walk involves light trekking through bushland. A moderate level of fitness is recommended, but the activity is adapted to visitors and you can always walk at your own pace.
Can I take photos of the tribes?
Yes, photography and video are usually allowed, but always ask for permission first out of respect for the Hadzabe and Datoga. Your guide will help you ensure respectful interactions.
