2. Scope
These terms govern the booking and provision of safari tours, cultural experiences and travel services by Wild Crest Safari Tanzania.
3. Booking and payment
A booking becomes firm upon receipt of the deposit (typically 30% of the total trip cost). Balance is due 60 days before departure. For bookings made less than 60 days before departure, full payment is required upon confirmation. Payment is by bank transfer in USD or EUR.
4. Cancellation policy
- More than 60 days before departure: deposit is refundable minus a 10% administrative fee
- 30-60 days before departure: 50% of total cost is retained
- Less than 30 days before departure: 100% of total cost is retained
We strongly recommend travel insurance covering cancellation.
5. Modification by Wild Crest
In case of force majeure (weather, political events, health crisis), we may modify the itinerary while preserving the spirit of the trip. If a substantial modification is required, you may cancel for a full refund.
6. Insurance & responsibility
Travel insurance is mandatory. Wild Crest is not responsible for losses caused by force majeure, third parties (airlines, lodges) or any cause beyond our reasonable control.
7. Visa & health
You are responsible for valid travel documents (passport, visa) and required vaccinations. Yellow fever certificate is mandatory for all international visitors arriving in Tanzania.
8. Conduct & ethics
Visits to Hadzabe and Datoga communities follow strict respect protocols defined together with the communities. Photo and video are subject to permission. We reserve the right to interrupt any activity in case of disrespectful behaviour.
9. Disputes
Any dispute will be resolved amicably first. Failing that, jurisdiction is the courts of Arusha, Tanzania, with French jurisdiction available for European consumers.
